Emotion and attachment wouldn't let this happen, but Crosby isn't getting any younger and PIT ould be really smart to take a deal like this if it was available. With that said, I don't know why MTL would want to, that's giving up the potential of being REALLY good for the next 10 years, for being really good now.

It would cost double this for the Pens to move Sid... Unless Sid wanted to go. He'll retire as a Pen and then own the team, Just like his mentor.

That being said, Montreal is probably the only other team Sid would want to play for.

Yes I agree. I doubt he leaves but IF he did then I think it would be MTL. MTL is also one of the only teams in a position to make a trade like this (good team, lots of picks/prospects/, cap room etc..)

Also, I wouldn`t be surprised if the Pens are awful in 5 years (very likely) then he leaves as FA and goes to MTL or potentially somewhere else.
