Description
Calgary needs some more skill and scoring, that has been pretty apparent so far this season. Nylander would address that need. I just worry about giving up Hamilton, because who replaces him, unless Treliving is comfortable that Andersson and/or Kylington can step in and play at this level in short order.

Another thing to look at is that Adam Larsson brought back Taylor Hall in a trade, Hamilton has much more value than Larsson and I would say that Hall has more value than Nylander, so in my mind that means that it would have to be Nylander+ for Hamilton. Would a package of Nylander + Gardiner for Hamilton + Poirier or Shinkaruk make sense for both teams?

The Larsson/Hall, really doesn't effect what the Flames are going to get for Hamilton. Gardiner for Hamilton might be even, by to throw in Nylander....no thanks from Leafs.
Why I think the Leafs and Flames is not a good fit is come next summer the Leafs are going to have lots of cap room. No need to give one or two good assets for Hamilton when there is better value out there.
