I don't see any real interest that WPG could have in Staal and Helm tbh. MTL declines and counter offer with a 3rd for Glendening. COL, PHI and EDM won't happen. The only one that could make sense is Bobby Ryan but imo I wouldn't pay more than a 3rd for a guy like him tbh...

I’d like the oilers to do that but it’s not likely at all. Holland said he wasn’t shopping for depth type of players which is all this would be. If an injury or two took place likely see a call up from Bakersfield before going down this road given both situations would require quarantine. I’d be ok seeing this happen just not likely
