extend or trade Zibs?
extend or trade Strome? Guy is a player who's answered his naysayers well
Answer to both depends on what they'd be willing to take to stay in NY, and in Strome's case the money would have to be commensurate with eventual 3rd C.
Of course an Eichel deal would blow up a lot of this...but who knows where that's gonna go- esp since he's getting surgery to his neck.

Beyond that the deals here involve exchanging promising D prospects for good C prospects.

    Don't like Madden or don't think the value equal?
    In the end NYR have many real good D prospects who'll probably never get a chance with the Rangers...would rather move some of those guys now before they can just walk away and sign with another org...and NYR are very light on legit C prospects

    madden is an ok prospect and i agree that rangers need one more center prospect and are heavy on D. However schneider already signed with us and nils is going to some point soon. I do not think the value is equal with the two. I think a better target would be like a turcotte, or part of a bigger package to upgrade prospects or maby move up in the draft.

    You can keep dreaming. Wild aren't trading a top c prospect they traded Luke kunin for to get these trash back

    To think wild would trade a top c prospect like marat fir a nobody d prospect or d prospect, & winger prospect they don't need, or want is comical
