Description

I'm not a Coyotes fan or anything, just think they're in a unique position of needing to develop young players while possibly staying playoff ready with the talent they have. I think the moves below might help them embrace that rather than going one way or the other.

I know there's a reasonable likelihood that Schwartz re-signs in St. Louis, but just in case they need to clear their glut of forward talent of some money then I think this is worth it.

The other moves are just prospective ones. I also don't know whether Garland's camp will ask for more, and he might get it, but I think a shorter, $5 million deal is more appropriate.
