Description

If the Hawks are really looking at possibly trading Z, why not use him as sweetner for Seattle taking de Haan. Just thinking Seattle would rather take Stillman over de Haan, so Hawks choose Stillman over Z. Seattle still gets big, young dman in Z and a really good top 4 defensive guy in de Haan. They don't give up too much in a couple 5ths and Hawks fill couple rounds.

Not going to speculate on contracts to fill roster.

Don't need to "follow" the history of trades that lead to Hawks getting Z, i.e. Panarin to Saad, because if you want to follow that back it starts with getting Panarin for free as UFA.

I think de Haan is a good player but do you think Vegas will take him over Stillman? Hawks seem to really like Stillman and Seattle probably would too. Vegas built a young fast team and has done well with that.
