for me, any sabres deal would include skinner waiving and going too. the cap flexibility is almost as important as the assets you'll get back. with skinner and eichel off the books, and okposo with only two years left (can be buried or bought out next offseason) that's $25 million to start over again. tim murray blew it up the rebuild the first time and i believe it was the pegula's who forced botterill to trade ROR, which then triggered another rebuild. for sabres fans, it has to get worse before it gets better. if eichel goes, you have to trade reinhart too. if you don't he'll sign his one year tender and then bolt.
