Beef up back end with Savard. Get a better overall player to fill the 2C hole that is more of a 1B with Zib. Bring in a veteran goalie that has proven to play well in New York. Finally, completely overhaul and spend some money on the 4th line. Gives them grit, speed, and guys that can fight in corners.

    Why do people think everyone’s taking a discount to go to/stay in New York? That’s kind of the opposite of what we’ve seen in the cap era.

    That and why does everyone think Monahan is getting Strome plus? Rangers wouldn't do 1-1 let alone add to it.

    No they wouldn't. Monahan has been trending down the last couple of seasons while Strome proved that last year wasn't a fluke. Is he as good as this, probably not, but he doesn't stink.
