Rangers dont rebuild
You don’t get K’andre or Lindgren without the Nash trade. And Hagelin didnt stay because he wanted 4M years ago. They were competitive after he left too same with Talbot they were dealt in the same summer. Kravvy isnt taken 9th overall either.

Time to beef up
Savard is a pretty mean defender that uses the body. Olesiak is a large human that can do some damage, Crouse has some real grit to his game and Martinook brings leadership and will drop the gloves if he needs to. Really like this roster if so.

Argument with my brother whos better
Barzal has more offensive talent and is a better skater as well as much younger. However, Zib's overall game and 200ft ability as a player make him better right now. In about 2-3 years I see Barzal becoming a more dominant player, but then again Barzal has only 4 more points than zib who had a terrible terrible start. Barzal is a gifted skater that will make flashy plays and if I were to start a franchise around one id go Barzy but only due to age.

Rags offseason
You are over-valuing Lindgren here. I think you can get him at around 3m for 3-4 years. Shets will prob sign in that 5x5 range more likely. But Buch will be right around that and so will Chyitl, maybe less for Chytil.

Healthy Lines
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KingLundqvist30</b></div><div>Exactly. But you you know what? It’s a good problem to have.
That first line is clicking, let’s keep it together.
Kreider and Strome look great together, but so does Panarin and Strome.
This is true, but at the same time, sooner than later Kravtsov will also come over. While yes I think Kravtsov-Chytil-Kakko would be super fun to watch, I am not sure how the minutes will translate. Kakko was the best ranger on the ice before covid and it was easily seen. Something is going to give I just don't know what in the near future.
PDG-Chytil-Kakko has clicked on the past.
That fourth line is a defensive machine
Overall I think we have a solid lineup, we just need to find our rhythm.</div></div>

See now things are starting to get complicated. Too many guys are starting to catch fire and you don't really want to mess it up. Kakko cannot play on the 3rd line, but nor can Laf. Kreider is scoring and Panarin should be back soon. Idrk what they are doing to do.

Summer Trades
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lenny7</b></div><div>Not to be a d1ck, but your whole team explanation comes off as if it was written by a marketing student.
-"Look, Eichel is an 80 point player who can score 30 goals.": He had 36 goals last year, which had him on pace for 43.4 over a full season, as well as a 94 point pace.
-"He is a #1C, but he is not McDavid": You're not wrong. He's arguably the 6th best center in the league.
-"I think the value of a trade is going to be just a little bit more than what O'Reilly got for return": O'Reilly was coming off of a 61 point season in Buffalo, and the Sabres allowed themselves to get f*cked on that trade.
-"#2B center,": You mean 3C. That's the easier way to describe that.
-"a top prospect": Not saying that Kravtsov isn't good, but didn't he have a ridiculous 7 game span in the KHL to start the season, and then...nothing...
-"a ready now prospect": Who projects to be a bottom 6 forward.
-"a talented offensive dman who needs a change of scenery": He's had a few of those. Could also read "A POS, who is an offensive dman".
-"a solid top 9 player who will not get the minutes here": Isn't Reunanen a dman?
-"and draft capital.": Good.</div></div>
Look the last two statements were more fact than me pulling stuff from no-where. Elliot Friedman said that teams are not going to give up their top prospects and young players it just wont happen. Then the other statement. A GM's job is to get the best possible return and it is what management thinks is the best return. His trade value will go down if 1 his play continues to struggle, and 2 he can make things difficult for the gm and be specific. He will ultimately get a large return as he is a very good player.
Now your second comment. I only say that because what most people think Eichel's trade value is that of an extreme caliber player, which Eichel is not for the moment. I say 2B because Strome just needs another solid player for him to perform better. He is capable of being a 2C but isn't a long term option for the Rangers. Kravtsov is probably a top 2 prospect for the Rangers only behind Nils right now, but has been hurt and getting injured as of late. Ready now prospect is Tarmo, the offensive dman in Deangelo how as 4th in d scoring last year. Still will have value after time passes. Top 9 player is Gauthier and draft capital as most trades now need.

Summer Trades
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Josh</b></div><div>Would you trade Panarin for that package?</div></div>
No, but there are variables to that. One: Panarin is better than Eichel so it would obviously cost more. Two: Eichel wants out of Buffalo and the situation will not be in Buffalo's favor because he will demand a trade and he will ultimately lose trade value. Three: If Eichel were to be traded, I would assume it will be a quantity trade like this rather than quality pieces like Kakko or Laf.

At least Schmaltz is 2 years younger, is locked up, and is a better two way player.
