As much as I love Copp, he's the odd guy out. (And there are rumors that Copp and his agent don't want to stay in WPG)

Copp is simply way better than Appleton. And besides, if he wants out then you can either get picks for him if he signs with another team in RFA, or sign him and trade him for something with value.

i keep poking around, is lowry a sure thing to be protected? if hes available do you think seattle takes a run at him?

I think Seattle could incentivize WPG to leave Copp unprotected with a pick or two. Because Copp is the better player. He would be an excellent add for Seattle.
But that will leave a hole in the Jets lineup. Bringing back Armia in that case would be pretty good. They probably just can't afford Copp's new raise.

He is a sure thing to be protected.
If WPG was stupid enough to sign him long term than leave him unprotected, Seattle would jump on him.
