    Additional Details:
All things considered Toronto might be able to utilize him on the back end. In my thoughts he's an upgrade from Holl maybe. Might be good to have a stay at home defenseman such as Bortuzzo. He's not expensive by any means, and I figured a 6th is reasonable enough. Any opinions are welcomed on this.

    Additional Details:
Edmonton might be interested I'm not so sure, but this is more a deal of him going out to any team doesn't have to be Edmonton. I would just think he might be on the way out. This might be the final time we see him on the Blues roster this season. I think it's time to retool the D and he's one of the guys to offload.

    1. 2021 3rd round pick (NYR)
    Additional Details:
New York Rangers fans earlier this year said they were interested in him. He might be out the door too. I'm thinking Army tries to make some moves and some quicker players being brought in, a faster team is the smartest move to make.

I personally like Barbashev but I don't see where he fits with Morgan Barron taking Howden's 4C spot.

Does he fit as a 4LW? Don't believe his defensive abilities are optimal for that role though.

He's played well on that side. I just remember a lot of rangers fans saying they thought he'd fit well. Barbashev can fit in a 3rd line/4th line role pretty well on the Wing or down the Center. Albeit he's not great on faceoffs average is around 45% so the idea with him is he normally has more takeaways than giveaways and he hits so many times. He's a forechecking forward. So depending on how you utilize him he's very good a filling that role. For Berube couple times he even moved him up into a Top 6 role and scored some wicked wrist shots for us. So I mean he's great player just use him right.

Sounds good. I think this move could work if there is no move made for a "physical" replacement for Lemieux.

Barby isn't slow, and he was one of the few skaters actually pulling weight in the playoffs.
