Petry isn't waiving for Columbus after just signing a long term deal, And Jones is heading to free agency next summer. So trading Petry for one year of Jones isn't happening.

I'm just saying value wise for Montreal giving up 4 years of Petry for 1 year of Jones would be a major mistake. Adding Jones for 1 year isn't going to all of a sudden catapult Montreal to cup contenders.
