Why would Columbus want Drouin? And Bernier is going to cost far more then 2 x 2 try more like 2 x 3.5 or 2 x 4 he'll get a hefty raise.

I don't hate the idea of the trade but I think Montreal would rather move Norlinder or Guhle than Romanov right now. Also I don't think that Drouin has lost as much value as fans on this site believe he has. Maybe something like

Drouin + Norlinder + 1st + 2nd (for the difference between Norlinder and Romanov right now)

Norlinder was my second option, so I totally agree.

I went for Romanov because:
1. CLB would need to replace Jones short term (a bit like Pionk).
2. Better short term cap management for Montreal, with only Suzuki's big raise in 2022. (and maybe Jones)

MTL need left D not Right D so unless petry or Weber is moving, I don't see them doing a Jones trade.
