Description
Both Broberg and Holloway start the year in Barkersfield, adding Hoffman, Coleman and Danault up front should give us three scoring lines and Danault can handle checking assignments and take key face offs also allows McLeod to grew into his role. Martinez replaces Klefs and allows Broberg to grow into that spot over the next couple yrs. In all this team is much deeper and doesn’t force our youth into roles there not ready for yet.
Bought out Koskinen and Turris decided to give up this yrs first and Legesson or Jones so Seattle will take Neal instead of buying him out.

Vanecek and Ullmark should provide a solid 1A/1B tandem and Stalock provides a solid number 3 in case of injuries.

Oilers decline, Caps won't get much because other teams know they'll lose him for nothing and goalies usually don't get much on the trade market. I wouldn't give up more than a 4th.

Fair enough I think he gets more then a 4th, Lavoie I’d class as a tier 2 prospect so not far off in value.

I like a lot of this...

    Suggestions

Turris could have been placed in the AHL for 1.5 million savings - its nonsensical to buy him out.
Your RHD would get it's head kicked in on a regular basis, its not good enough, it's worse than last years and last years wasn't close.
Hoffman is a problem, St.Louis scratched him and want nothing to do with him now.
I'm sorry, Martinez is a risk at 33 for even two years.
You sign Poolman at 1.5 but don't play him or Russell, that's 2.7M sitting especially when Russell can play ether side.

Bear would need a bounce back yr, based on the season Martinez is having not a risk on a 2 yr deal, to gain a extra 500k Turris buyout is worth it as you only get around a mil in relieve if you put him in the AHL
Jones and Poolman split time or Poolman beats Jones out, Russell is insurance as he can play both sides you can never have enough D
Hoffman could be a risk but McDavid needs a shooter on his wing, yes he was a healthy scratch but played well after and reports are the Blues could be open to bring him back

Goaltending is solid improved scoring in the top six and better depth in the top 9, Martinez allows Broberg to develop for a yr in the AHL and allows him to ease into be a full time NHLer in yr 2 as Klelfbom’s career is over, would have liked to improved on the right side D but you only have so much money and you can’t fix every problem in a single offseason this team is light yrs better then this yrs rendition.

Turris burried is 1.5 million that's not chump change and gives you 2 years at AHL not 4 years of a buyout.
I can buy your Martinez and you can never have enough D, I just think you have that in Russell, It's your team, your rules.
