Description
Obviously there are a bunch of variables here and I'm only willing to go so far assumption wise. Factors like the draft lottery, Larkin's ability to play top 6 centre, Zetterberg's regression, Kronwall's health, the free agent market and potential trades can all seriously affect how this roster will look. I do believe this roster is somewhat realistic, however.

My best guess is the wings will probably be minor sellers at tdl and probably get aggressive in the offseason. Between trading and ufas. Can't imagine too much sitting around with the current team. Also I'd probably expect kronner to be on full time ltir like franzen next season. Which will help a lot cap wise

At 3.8m Helm is no bargain. Vegas unlikely to take him. Best Wings strategy is having Helm and other on LTIR.

Based on reports from the summer, Helm actually took a hometown discount. So, 3.8m wouldn't be considered a bad deal. Also, Vegas can't only take bargain players or they will struggle to get to the cap floor. Need some exciting players to help build a fan base, too. I would bet health as the reason Vegas wouldn't take him. If I had to guess at who Vegas would take, I would bet Helm, Sheahan, Jurco, or young defensman.
