Description
If I am Sweeney and Neely, this is what I am doing.

Hyman and Coleman address the softness of the forward group. Personally a huge fan of Lauko, might have another year in providence, but I kind of feel like he will force his way onto the team. Speed, toughness, PK and he can score.

Hyman has proven he can play with elite talent. He is very fast and good in corners, Let Pastrnak play on the second line because Hall and Krejci need someone who can score. Both are more playmakers.

The only time Coyle was decent this year was with Smith. I think a line of Coleman Coyle and Smith will be a pain in the arse to play against.

4th line - Physical and fast. Let studnicka spot in as needed.

Defense is pretty simple. Add Graves and slot Lauzon down. They will bring back Miller, it's what they do. He is also BFF with Marchand, so there is also that. When he plays, he is a 2nd pairing caliber player. I am convinced, he will never make a full or even close to a full season again. Seems like the type of dude who would get struck by lightening multiple times.

Clifton as the 7th when Miller gets hurt. Vaak as the 8th when someone on the left side gets hurt. Would be opposed to bringing back Rielly as long as it's as 3rd pairing. Lauzon can play right. OR if Lauzon is taken by Seattle.

Goalie - Sign any vet around 2-2.5m let the Boston Structure and D make him look good and deal at deadline/when Rask is back. it's a platoon. I fully expect it to be Swayman's job by the end of the year. Rask back on cheap money backing up swayman is perfect. As much hate as Rask gets, you are doing pretty ok if Rask is your contingency plan.
He kind of has to be ok with it if he want to play at all.

If they had money to, sure. They currently have about 12m for at least 8 Roster spots, Ideally 11.

No way 3.1 gets Coleman unless he's giving TB or DALLAS a discount. He is signing for 3.8+

It's all there, though I think Seattle goes after one of our young defenseman (Lauzon or Clifton). But even if they don't do that, they need some depth on defense, on both sides. I see some guys of the same caliber as Kampfer getting signed to short deals. I like Graves, but I think the package would need picks and the Bs need to hold onto their 1st round picks. And I think Cassidy likes guys like Ritchie (who park in front of the net) too much to not resign him. Coleman is a good add if there's a spot for him, move Pasta back up to the top line for Hyman (who may be more expensive), and I love Lauko in the lineup, hope he gets there.

But would they? Hyman is a skill guy who's versatile and that clearly didn't work with all the other skill guys they already have
