Jones with an extension already in place is going to cost a bit more than that in terms of quaity of assets.

Ok, would you be interested if I swapped out that 3rd for a 1st. 4 1st round picks sounds pretty fun for CBJ.

Nice work again. I’d just say be careful on the term for Marty and Ginner. Think you could do 1 year for Marty and 2 for Ginner. As things get tighter over next 3-4 years that cap space isn’t much but could help out and you can sub out fourth liners on their ELCs down the road.

That helps, but it's still not enough. Keep in mind we're talking about a #1RHD here. The rule of thumb would therefore be "one blue-chipper and one other quality future" - i.e. something shiny like the 1st likely to get you/become a useful NHL player, and then something likely to get you an eventual high quality core player. Or, in short, Jarvis.
