Ghost had a higher pts/game last season than Dumba, Yandle, Faulk, Fowler, Montour, Pulock etc. why do you say 'no team would be interested in him at 4.5'

All told he was 39th in D points per game

That's a pretty significant contribution to wins

Even if has awful defensively as some suggest

He'd be just as valuable as inverse skillset players who provide very little offense but are defensive specialists like Savard, Larsson, Hjalmarsson, Zadorov, etc.

By the same logic no team should want Korpisalo at 2.8M$ he's a career .905 goalie who can be replaced for 900k (stalock et al) and cap space is still scarce

Picks based on resigning are no longer permitted in trades as of the 2020 CBA renegotiation.

That said, advance negotiations are still a possible thing.
