I doubt PHI pay you that much for 1 year of JG, also Monahan could prob get more. Also Why trade Linholm? and for that return too. 2 players who haven't proven in NHL and a late 1st.

These are solid and well thought out trades.

I guess the one nit pick is Phi would need to be sure they could resign him and they have some big cap problems as is. Same with VGK but its all doable.

I think if Lindholm was being traded COL makes more sense. Something similar like Kaut+Timmins+Graves/JTC+ 1st or something

Possibly, I thought about that for the Philly perspective. The way I see it though, they aren’t trading anything really. Patrick is probably a career 3rd liner, Frost is a 22 year old who probably peaks at a middle 6 C and the 1st is in one of the worst drafts, ever. Potentially, but Chytil was just as good as Monahan this year. Might be the best Calgary can do. I’m on the fence about trading Lindholm. If we enter a rebuild he’ll be likely 29-30 when it’s done. Probably gonna get the most value from him from trading him. Probably should have thrown Krebs in though as opposed to Dugan

I think Philly's focus will be on acquiring Jones as their RHD stud and that 1st will def be apart of that. Im a huge fan of Monahan and I would offer more from a CHI perspective, the only hinderance is his deal and what his next deal looks like. I think Monahan has been harshly judged the past couple of seasons. Lindholm's deal is just so team friendly and a god damn good deal to keep. I think if he was going to be moved it could return prospects who've shown more in the NHL and a better pick.
