Not a terrible idea imo. Yes, too much at 3C, but at least a good 3C. Might as well see if Schmidt can turn it around next year to get his value at least back to where it was though. Also, David Savard is NOT signing that.

I would love something similar to this. Schmaltz is owed a lot in real cash over the next 5 seasons so there could definitely be some incentive for Arizona to move him.
