Description
We all know at the 2020 deadline, there were major rumors of a Zach Parise - Andrew Ladd swap. Now that Parise is a free agent, I absolutely see him coming to NYI.

Ryan Suter is also a perfect fit for this team. He's still playing well at his age and would be the perfect fit with Noah Dobson. Suter was also coached by Trotz in Nashville, so that level of familiarity would be ideal for him.

The other trades have been discussed ad nauseam aside from the Andrew Ladd trade. With Arizona having a ton of cap space, and the Islanders needing a 4C with Casey Cizikas potentially leaving, I see Johan Larsson as a good fit and this as a good trade for both teams. If the Coyotes want to replace Larsson with someone else that's okay, just as long as it's someone making around the same or less.

Yeah why not? He's still playing at a high level. If that's what it takes to outbid another team so be it. His contract would expire when Barzal and Wahlstrom are up.

EDIT: Whoops, meant to sign him for two years, not three. I'm updating now.

Id give him 1 year 2.5 mill - these defenseman can fall off a cliff at any moment. He turns 37 next season.

I'd much rather have him at that, but I think we'd be outbid.

Then sign McCabe/kulikov/goligoski. I think isles are at the point where they can’t afford to overpay players.
