Caps pass on BUF trade. Risto is a really really bad defensemen. I'd maybe take him for really cheap with a lot eaten so he can play bottom pair.

Caps also pass on VGK. If they trade Kuz they need to get a top 6 C back. The reason VGK didn't move on is because they used Stephenson as a top 6 C when he isn't. He's a good 3rd liner. Caps go nowhere with him as 2C.
