Last night's loss was a nail in the coffin. With Toronto 1 point behind us with 5 games in hand, the Bruins probably fall out of it quickly. The Panthers are 2 points behind with 2 games in hand, and they just got a huge boost getting Huberdeau and Barkov back. Detroit is 5 points back with 2 games in hand. Just look at the standings, and you will see how close everything truly is (minus Colorado and Arizona). The Bruins have a realistic shot at a top 8 pick if things go the wrong (or some may view the right) way. I say sell off your UFA/RFA's that aren't apart of the future for some more draft picks. Start calling up some guys from Providence (Cehlarik, Debrusk, Gabreille -- when he arrives, Blidh, etc. etc.) to give them looks and get their feet wet. MAYBE McAvoy/JFK/Bjork are signed and you can get them into a game or 2 (a lot depends on how their college seasons finish).

I couldn't have said it any better myself. If we are going to sell, though, I think trading Kevin Miller and/or Quaider would help clear more cap and would free up more ice time for Grzelcyk and Colin Miller.

It would and maybe you could move them as well, but I tried to keep it to their UFA's and RFA's (to-be) only. Quaider/Kevan can be exposed to LV during the offseason and hopefully one is taken. The other may be more trade-able in the off-season.

You could probably move Quaider/K. Miller after the expansion draft when teams will be looking to replace lost d-men.
