The Avs aren’t over paying for JVR who stylistically is a bad fit for COL.

might be a bit over his value, maybe a 2nd instead of a 1st. i don't think he's a bad fit either. the avs could use a guy who gets to the front of the net like that.

Not for the transition game they play and not to be an anchor to MacKinnon and Rantanen on the top line. In a vacuum on the power play sure, but there is a reason the Avs didn’t even talk to him when he was FA a few years ago.

yea becuase philly offered him 5x7. avs couldn't do that.

jvr can still play. he has a much needed skill set, especially if landy is gone.
