why do you think anyone’s gonna trade for a ufa? If you sign them then good for you, you’re keeping them and teams will look elsewhere. Not that ottawa needs a goalie anyway

Take the price you’ve put on OEL. Divide it in half. Divide it half again. Cut that in half one more time for good measure, and you might be at the value for a 50% retained OEL.

I would do OEL at 2.5 million retained and Dvorak for Skjei, Gardiner( if he isn’t LTIRed), Bokk and a 2nd

Dvorak’s value is brought down some by the actual dollars of OEL’s and its length.
