If you can get him for 2x2.2 that’d be good. Figured he might want some term to get out of Buffalo, he’s getting a little old to be betting on himself for another contract. Regardless I wouldn’t spend more than around that 2.8mil that is available for a 2LD who can fill that hole capably and then slide back when Valimaki steps up. If we get either of Eichel or Dvorak I’d be happy though, and Kase or Suter are unqualified guys I’d take a chance on.

edit: I also think 1x1 and 6x4 are equally stupid for McCabe lol

The 1x1 is very likely there because hes expcected to reprove himslef aftwr the injury. Moot point for us though since we got Zadorov now. Hopefully thats no more than a QO though
