Description

CGY will need $6M in cap space next summer for the Tkachuk, Gaudreau, Mangiapane extensions above their current AAV.

That means that Backlund likely has to move, and the cap needs to go up marginally (both things happen next summer).

Totally worth it to get Eichel and deal with that problem next summer to run this top 6 and finally have a true 1C.

Have to think that the 3 Americans would absolutely love playing together, and would be one of the best lines in hockey.
