Can we get into the playoff

For sure, that division sucks, but even in a division like the central I still think they make it. The forwards are good, no complaints there, goaltending is great, halak needs a bounce back tho. The one obvious concern is the defence. OEL can bounce back, so can hamonic, but I think he was better as the season went on. Poolman was ok last year in a bottom pairing roll, but that contract is just too much. Hughes should play in a limited roll, that should help him out defensively as I felt he was drowning last year with the responsibility he had, as OEL should be on the top pair. Rathbone is a very good prospect. Myers was actually decent last year, but he takes bad penalties and needs to learn to use his size better. He could be like chara. He needs to go back to his form in WPG, but can he do that? I don’t know. He can still be a decent defenceman for them. Overall, the defence isn’t great, but the offence and goaltending are good enough to take this team easily to the playoffs.
