Description

Mtl has two hole. They lack a veteran center. Paquette is not back but they need a 3rd line center. I like what I saw from Evans last year, but I think he should be on the 4th line, maybe 3rd from time to time but not regulary. Paquette was brought as a guy that you could bench sometimes pretty much like Perreault.

They also need a mobile top 4 right side defenseman. They also got to much wingers on the leftside with Toffoli, Hoffman, Drouin, Byron, Lehkonen, Perreault. What I would do is try to trade Drouin, since there's no place for him on this line-up and he needs to play on yout top6, in exchange for that top 4 guy.

Mtl brings back P.K. a mobile defenseman who could play on the 1st or 2nd powerplay.
Besides Petry Mtl lacks a offensive defenseman. Since the ld guys are more defensive guys I think bringing back PK would be good, since he's risky on his own zone, but he very capable on moving the puck and make a good 1st pass. PLus there's only one year left on his contract.

Far rather have an expiring Subban deal than take the chance on Drouin who has been very unimpressive.

How come people can’t understand the reason they moved subban in the first place? He was moved because of dressing room antics and off ice behaviour.

MTL doesn’t want that back.
