    Short term as a Leaf fan, I like the idea of the Bruins missing the playoffs this year. The lottery win, not so much.

    I really think that Boston is in a good position to rebuild on the fly. They have some good young pieces with Pastrnak, McAvoy, Krug, etc. and Rask has a handful of years where he provides elite goaltending left in him. Even if they don't win the lottery, they're in a good spot for the present and future.
