    Habs have to deal with Mailloux now. They have committed to supporting the development of his character and to awareness and support of a cause around what he did. There's no way out that isn't a cop out.

    I could do without Tierney trade, but I'll take the Giordano one and pair him with Savard. Might need more retention to make him fit though, can't just throw Drouin on LTIR.

    We weren't given a reason, there obviously was one.
    Current indications are that he's ready to return, so he has to be accounted for.

    Provable was the opportune word in my sentence. If there was a definitive medical procedure say like hip surgery we'd have known. Seems awfully convenient to me.

    Are you one of those people who doesn't believe mental health is a thing? Addiction? Prioritizing a family member's well being? There are things with no "medical procedure" that we don't need to know about. That's why it's called a "personal" leave of absence, instead of "public".
