Description
rangers fans would you consider trading nils for this package or something similar

i understand you maybe unwilling to want to lose him to a trade or maybe u want to play him see what he could bring or maybe want use him in another trade to acquire a player of need, but if rangers think SCHNEIDER could be ready this year would u consider trading nils with you having fox on the rightside and trouba having an NMC and doubt his contract will be able to moved, i understand u could play him on the leftside instead but you now have a decent young leftside with lindgren, miller and jones so could a trade be made?

before u hate on the trade it probably be around the 20th pick overall and niemela who is a very good prospect and plays a good two way game and was very impressive for finland in world juniors and could be a steal in that draft

sandin and nils was awesome pairing together for sweden in world juniors a couple of years ago would love to see what they could form as a line together

is this trade fair or what would make it fair for both teams

Rangers don't think about trading either of them

As a Rangers fan, Im comfortable trading Nils. In the trade youve proposed, absolutely not. If you want a potential elite level top pair scoring defenseman, the Rangers want a potential elite level center. For the Rangers to trade Nils, for an offensive RHD makes absolutely no sense no matter how hard you try to rationalize it.

I’m not moving him with a top center prospect coming the other way. We have no requirement or reason to trade him and I wouldn’t consider it unless it addressed a serious need of ours like center position.

I would be intrigued to see Sandin and Niemela play together first

Rather keep the 1st and Niemla. That 3rd line is inexperienced. Yea Niemla is still over a year out but trading a 1st to get a rookie Rd faster isn't the way
