If I was to bet, I'd put Sandin starts in the AHL. I doubt they picked up Biega to play down there when theres all kinds of prospects needing that time. It won't be popular with fans but the signing doesn't make much sense otherwise.

It was a depth signing. Absolutely zero way Sandin doesnt crack the opening roster. Bunting also starts in the top 6 without a doubt

Biega is an ahl defender, they 100% picked him up to play in the ahl

Yes, sometimes ahlers play in the nhl because teams are bad and need cheap filler guys. And wow look at that 13 games last year with the worst team in the nhl putting up numbers that a guy who is a mediocre ahler would put up.
Funny, that.
But sure, put sandin in the ahl for that guy, what a great idea
