Description
Defense prove to not need Myers.
- Hamonic continues to build chemistry with Hughes to be an offensive force that runs against opposing teams 2/3rd lines and produces.
- Poolman looks to be a good fit with OEL to both stabilize him and be part of a top minutes pairing going against opposing teams top lines like he was on the Jets.
- Luke Schenn to take over the mentor spot for Rathborn part way into the season and carry into the 22/23 year where Jett Woo gets some split time on the bottom pair as a solid 2 way D man.

Forwards continue to develop chemistry and look to push into the playoffs for a good run.

Some space for 2 more forward scratches on min contracts

Bonuses are probably closer to 2mil. I'd also rather trade Pearson and Hamonic rather than pay to move Myers. It should also give you enough cap to sign Pulock maybe

Putting in the worst case for bonuses.

Hamonic had no pre season and Canucks did not get 1 practice in until after their 20th game last season. He showed progression with Hughes as the season went on, and that was after Van lost Elias for the rest of the season. I'm interested to see how defensive pairs start out but do not see a good fit for Myers on this team, our entire LD are offensive minded players and Myers is a RD that is also supposed to be an offensive D, he had mixed results with Hughes, and seems to be to slow when facing rushes to be a good defensive D man and took bad penalties in the D zone.

Pearson might be a tradeable piece but Myers is the less serviceable player in my mind
