I don't like that Khusnutdinov trade one iota. Khusnutdinov's trajectory has shot up like a rocket since his drafting, and Patrick's has, quite frankly, done the exact opposite.

I don't see Marat K as being more than a 3C (Haula, but not as good of a shot) the NHL in a few years. With Rossi, JEE, and Partrick I think he ends up fighting for the 4C spot along with several other center prospects in the organization. It's an instant gratification trade.

I'm not tied to Marat K being the return, just something along the lines of a 2nd round pick. I just think it would get Vegas' interest with it being a center prospect that won't effect their cap for a couple of years.
