With EP, they would likely be a playoff team (though in the Metro, it would be far from a sure thing, maybe even doubtful), but dropping the RE from rebuilding, means they are still building. Probably too young a team to give up that many futures ... a team that was closer to the cup, where Pette puts them over the top seems more suitable imo ... also seems a bit uncharacteristic for a management team that has been patient.

The Salary would choke them off from resigning too many other players ... the entire team goes FA in the next two years
