Montréal wouldn’t have signed Hoffman and Savard if they thought there was a chance Weber could be back. And reports indicate he’s getting into retired life at his home in BC, so he’s definitely not coming back.

Romanov would have to take a big step up to get that much money. McAvoy and Werenski were 3 years by $4.9 million and $5 million respectively, after putting up 0.52 and 0.54 points per game respectively. Romanov put up 0.11 points per game last year.

yea i think you can cut the AAV almost in half. Look at Bean, Myers, Välimäki, Cernak, Bear, etc.

but we can imagine our 3 ELC players will make bonuses this year, maybe up to 1m in overages, so it will be difficult
