Description
I think it’s going to get worse before it gets better. Our drafting has been down right terrible. We had 4 picks in the top 34 in 2017. Still don’t have a drafted player playing a major role (injuries have pushed Hague and Krebs up). This team can’t score and pretend like that’s just gonna somehow miraculously be fixed when the guys that couldn’t score the last two playoffs come back lols. I have no problem going after Eichel, but it better be under a new regime with a plan. So many things can go wrong with that Eichel trade and only one positive….a cup. Your putting a lot on staying healthy next year if you do it… If you are you might as well tank this year and go for Wright and send other years picks.

Trades realistically not going to happen and as it stands if Vegas does anything its to fix the current issue, not gut the team more now to make it better in 3-4 months.

This is also not going to work cap wise, all 3 of Patches, Tuch, and Eichel (assuming he is traded relatively soon) will be healthy before the end of the season

As for prospects, Vegas took a very unorthodox expansion approach. Sure they got a lot of picks and prospects from the original draft, but they went and decided to be a contender right away. This resulted in moving a lot of prospects and picks out. Yeah it sucks that Glass didnt pan out but if anything Hague has looked pretty promising

Hague does, and how did the front office reward him? By bringing back Martinez at 5.5 million lol. Like I said tho, we’re at year 5 and we have ONE guy that can legit contribute at the NHL level?
