OTT mgmt being displeased with branny at 22 doesn't stop him from still being a superb D asset and he posted excellent results last year, very bright future

Suzuki naturally an excellent asset

Stone's contract probably becomes more like blake wheeler's as he ages and pacioretty only has a few years left, VGK might struggle come 2025

But naturally what they're doing now is super cool

This scenario is like Poile type managing in NSH

Also: clearly they'd sign a top pair RD to fill the gap

But they wouldn't have drafted low or traded away 1sts to go for a cup either so maybe they end up with someone like K'Andre Miller in 2018 etc.
