Description
My only reasoning behind the Duchene trade is that they get a top-6 winger to play beside Patrick/Hischer in Schenn, a potential top-4/5 defenseman in Hagg, and middle six forward in Laughton, a future goalie to pair with Pickard, and a decently high 2nd round pick at worst.

It probably isn't enough for him (duchene), but just something to think about. The Flyers lines look pretty solid to me and I think we have come to the conclusion that there is absolutely zero chance Amac leaves this team. Chances are he will be paired with another rookie next season and that rookie will have to drag him around the ice (i.e. Provorov).

** Left Lindblom off the roster for now, but wouldn't be surprised to see him make the team..

This trade is what Duchene is worth, but his market and face value demand more.

yeah it's so hard to gauge because I'm not sure what other teams will offer.. Idk at this point it doesn't seem worth it, but this team looks pretty solid and in 18/19 would be pretty good still

I think this is an over payment for Duchene, I understand that Sakic is asking this huge price but it just doesn't make sense for a team to deplete their prospect pool and a roster player and draft picks for a 26 year old who isn't even the best player on the shittiest team in the league. I think Schenn, Hugg and a 2018 1st should be sufficient, my 2 cents.
