I include Zaitsev and C Brown and Picks for Keller. What would you need to add to that for him?

If you just want Zaitsev, no problem Sens will happily do it for picks and you would still have to add a player on an Expiring deal because Ottawa has to stay above cap floor as well.

Arizona can just sign UFAs instead of taking Zaitsev for free, which they shouldn't. You said it yourself "Arizona needs NHL players".

Ottawa is fine as far as the cap floor is concerned. They can give up Zaitsev and still be $3MM above the floor even after all the covid callups return to Belleville.

This idea is based on Thomson playing so well last night, Zub being so well regarded, and JBD quickly developing. Zaitsev is still Ottawa's 3rd best D, but the young guys will push him out as the team looks to the future.
