Trading Carter needs to be explored, he has not been good at all this year. Hasn't been a positive player offensively nor defensively.

Johan Larsson (ARZ): Defensively responsble 3rd line center
Rickard Rakell: Has been generating offense at an above average level while not being too much of a liability defensively
Marcus Johansson: Having a good defensive season while having a below average offensive season
Nick Cousins: Having a very underrated season. Positive impact at both ends of the ice. Very good at limiting scoring chances.

I’m gonna go ahead and defend Big Jeff Carter. Be really liked his production and has helped Pittsburgh in big games. How much more can you ask from a 36 year old that has 11 points in his first 20 games of the season. Not to mention he’s playing 2nd line minutes. However I don’t really feel the high need to trade him.
