Bruins win this. Arizona does ok with the picks. Calgary gets hammered.

I think that you've got some high expectations for Monahan here. Frankly anyone centering the 3rd line in Calgary at this point is an improvement

Monahan has been a big disappointment in his own right the last couple of years. 1st and Frederic are probably no’s alone, both is pretty unlikely.

My ideal move would be Debrusk/Haula/2nd for Monahan, no retention.

I don't mind the value in your deal but I don't think Calgary keeps Debrusk beyond this season. A big part of the deal that I have posted is that Arizona has no problem paying Debrusk a nearly $5M QO next season where he can walk to UFA.

The QO is vastly overblown on here. It’s only an issue if he 💩s the bed again. If he does don’t give it to him, he becomes a UFA and you can sign him cheaper just lose first rights. If he has a normal year for him and he finishes 15-20g 35-40p 4.4 for 1 year is reasonable, and if he likes where he is he turns it down anyway. He wants a long term deal. When he declines it you have first rights and can negotiate any salary.
