I dont think Landeskog is available anymore. The word around the Avs rumours from their Beat writers is that he is sticking around and continue to be the Captain of the team. I think Bruins had their chance getting him. Avs are not moving him unless Carlo or McAvoy are involved so really there is no deal b/w the 2 teams

I like the Landy deal which means Col unlikely to take it lol. Don't like the Williams signing rather re-sign Stafford tho I'm assuming the idea is he will cost to much in either $ or years to fit. Hate the Beleskey deal. A 2nd and a player for no better then a 5th? Sorry but I'm not a believer in the idea they need to bribe/beg someone to take him. Beleskey for a conditional...sure. Dont need to throw away a second to make it happen. Giving up a 2nd for at best a 5th just to move his contract is like the old joke "hey can you give me two 20s for my 10" that we tried on each other as kids to see if they were paying attention. Who are they bribing Vegas not to take by giving them a pick to take McQuaid? McQuaid is the guy most experts think they pick anyway. Subban is the only one I'd think they'd take over McQuaid. At this point they'd be better off trading Subban after the season and before the expansion draft, get something for him and not worry about losing him for nothing or forfeit assets to protect him. Expose Beleskey rather than Nash and see if they bite on him. I'd be happy as hell if Beleskey or Hayes were picked by Vegas. They might On Beleskey but cant see them taking Hayes.. Using a late pick to get them to take one of them would be nice. still think Beleskey can be a valuable member of the B's if nothing else for his hits and toughness but 3.8 is a bad number for a bottom 6 winger that isn't providing any offense.

It's already been said that ANA was interested in taking Beleskey back in a trade, but the bruins would either need to retain (not worth doing for 3-4 years). It's a bad contract, and with that, you're going to have to give up something with him. I'd rather give up a 2nd to get out of that contract, than be stuck with him and/or have to retain.

No problem. I just don't see BOS moving either for a winger. This was all assumed they may come down on their asking price. But if no deal is to be made, it is what it is. I would like to see BOS try and acquire a top 6 LW with the pieces they have.

I understand your thinking. Just don't agree with it not at that price anyway. That's pretty costly. Maybe something like swapping 1sts this year for Beleskey. Ducks move up from bottom of 1st round to middle in weak draft and gain Beleskey. Boston drops down a dozen or so slots to dump the contract. It's a win for both teams.
