Canes pass. Canes won’t pay a 2nd and Keane to get a depth defenseman who at best would be the 10th dman called up. Smith, Lajoie, and Chatfield all make it before Miller. Canes would be looking for a top 6 LW, and possibly another backup goalie depending on how Raanta performs. Canes don’t need any more depth defenseman right now.
