WIN TRADE:

Jets don't seem to be really happy with Trouba, and this is reliant on them feeling they would be better off trading him. This is a somewhat fair assumption, they clearly need to make a change to their lineup as they've had disappointing seasons lately. Going back they get an offensive left handed defenseman who's an excellent skater and still decently young. As well they get Winnipeg native in Brednan Leipsic who is a REALLY GOOD prospect and is NHL ready. Its hard to gauge exactly what WIN wants as they seem to have conflicting needs but we might need to add.

CLB TRADE:

CLB trades away Murray who's had some injury problems, Boone Jenner who has some rocky production and the most expensive 4th liner in Scott Hartnell. Going back they get JVR who's more of a goalscorer to help them compete with PITs scoring depth, they get a Hartnell replacement whose cheaper and on a shorter deal and a depth defenseman.

EDM TRADE:

Okay this trade could have me barking up the wrong tree here but I could see EDM seeing immense value in Bozak. Firstly he's McDavid's idol, secondly they desperately need some center depth (they traded Davidson for Desharnais for gods sake) and he would allow them to keep Draistl and McDavid together. Coming back I wanted some youth, however I don't think they're interested in trading away their first rounder this year (they already don't have their second) but I was wondering about Darnell Nurse. He seems to have fallen out of favour with the Oilers, PLUS they can't keep him in expansion as they'll need to protect Klefbom, Larsson and Sekera. I would appreciate your thoughts on this EDM fans.

Leaving Exposed:
-Scott Hartnell, Mattt Martin, Eric Fehr, Mark Fayne and Marchenko

However because Hartnell has to waive his NMC we tell him to waive for the expansion and we'll make a deal with Vegas so they don't take you. Vegas gets a prospect package of Rychel, Valiev and a 5th, which isn't impressive at all until you realize that the only thing they have to do is not select Scott Hartnell, a 5m dollar 4th liner.
