Laine to the Devils makes a ton of sense, but the package you offered isn't gonna cut it for him. You're going to have to trade a top 5 prospect and a 1st for him easily. But If you put him with hughes its gonna be so lethal. Hughes could jump up to a 90 point guy and Laine could get back to 40 goal form. You'd Honestly be able to Get him for Johnsson, Siegenthaler, and the 1st from the Leafs.

Your Oilers trade is interesting, but ultimately I think the Oilers pass on this offer. Lavoie and Zacha are basically the same player except Lavoie is younger, cheaper and shoots right, all of which are important to the Oilers next season. That may sound crazy as Lavoie isn't in the NHL yet at 21, but with Hyman, Holloway and Foegele under contract for next season, where would Zacha fit in? He's terrible defensively too, and the Oilers need more wingers who can play without the puck. Also, he's an arbitration eligible RFA, that alone should scare the cap strapped Oilers away.
