Description
Unsure on the Boston trade. It could occur at the deadline or the offseason

The plan would not be to contend this season. Rather wait a year or two when Myers expires and then go for it. In the draft I would hopefully get Savoie or Lambert with our first pick (probably top 10) and then Elias Salomonsson with the Rangers pick

  1. Chytil, Filip

  3. 2022 1st round pick (NYR)
NYR
  1. Miller, J.T. ($2,625,000 retained)
  2. Schenn, Luke
Additional Details:
JT Miller has massive value. The guy play a great 2-way game, can play any forward position and scores a point per game on a average to bad team. That is worth over 7 mil normally yet the Rangers can have him for 2 cup runs at under 3 million. Tell me that isn't worth Schneider

Schenn replaces Schenider as a bottom pairing RHD

VAN
  1. 2022 2nd round pick (EDM)

      Tyler Motte

Could be 50% retained doesn't really matter. Trade him to any contender. Maybe could get a 2nd but I will just be conservative and say he gets a 3rd

      2. 2023 4th round pick (VAN)
      Additional Details:
Could be at the trade deadline or the offseason. Close caphits. Hagelin provides some leadership for the bottom-six. Dickinson has a higher ceiling

Rangers say KEEP JT at that price. We will go shop in Vegas or Arizona or Montreal for a RW.

FYI - That isn't worth Schneider

Saying Motte could get a 3rd isn't conservative. It's the best they could possibly do. Blues pass, so you'd need to move him elsewhere.

I get that it's expensive but I dont think you guys win a cup without bringing in someone like JT. Also with Fox, Trouba signed long term and Ludvkist RD is a fairly well-stocked position

Fair enough. As I said it could be to any team, I had just seen the Blues suggested a few times

I don't see Edmonton being interested in taking on Halak's bonus-laden contract. They certainly aren't in a position to give up the 2nd in that swap.
