Really nice roster but Norris absolutely needs a pure playmaker and you have the 2 best on the first line.

I see that Nick Paul and Connor Brown are gone too, which IMO is a mistake but this could still work out. Really dependent on Jarventie booming though.

I really don't like that 4th line though. Don't think Abramov becomes a full time NHLer. He'll have to put Dadonov like numbers in the KHL for a team to give him a NHL contract. His overall game will always be subpar. Also, Gambrell is doing ok defensively but doubt he's a player a NHL team keeps for years, most likely just a depth player until he's back in the AHL for good.

Tkachuk - Stutzle - Jarventie
Formenton - Norris - Batherson
Greig - Pinto - White
Sokolov - Kastelic - Boucher

Defense pairings and goaltending are PERFECT!

Also, why Ty Nelson? Do you think the Sens will/should draft him with a high first round pick?

Nelson is just who I had them getting in my mock draft. And yeah I also only signed back RFAs.

Id imagine the Sens will go after a really high caliber in the next few years through trade/FA with all of your cap space, too so Norris would get a winger which will really bolster the top 6

Really easy with all of your prospects and picks to package a first + 2 prospects for a great 2nd liner

Why would the isles do this when Zaitsev would be their 7th defenseman?

ok but where did you have Nelson? I mean, I see him #34 on McKenzie's list and #24 on the consolidated ranking... Can't see the Sens drafting lower than #12

And again, you can't have a "pure goal scorer" on Norris wing who is also a "pure goal scorer". I mean, it'd be great to have as many as possible but that's asking a lot to Formenton who is a decent playmaker but not the ideal one for "pure goal scorers"
