One month until TDL

Some of you already see my thought process through this. A prospect that's been falling in the depth chart because of later hits in the draft (Johnston, Bourque, Stankoven) which are making Ty expandable. A year away 2nd round pick (Most likely in the 50-55 range) and a roster player to give the cap space (Faksa). Not saying the latter is a cap dump but they'd likely be able to get a much cheaper option at 4C (From CF listings). Montreal gets a (what would be ) 3C signed for the retool/rebuild and a very good prospect almost NHL ready.

I personally think that would be a fair return for an unretained Petry. We're obviously trading at his lowest value but it is what it is. I think there's only 2 of Chiarot, Petry and Kulak that will be traded by the deadline, I'd focus on the higher returns but could see Petry being dealt only after the season.

Conditional 1st 2022: Pick is only transferred if the NYR make it to the Conference Finals. If the Rangers fail to make it to the conference finals the picks being transferred are the following; 2022 2nd round pick, 2022 2nd round pick (From Blues).
(Or a 2023 2nd you get what I mean)
I'd rather get a body coming the other way but if they want a 1st I doubt.

IF I believe Seravalli's claim that Montreal is looking to get a 1st round pick for Lehky and IF I think there's one team agreeing to do so that's the only way I could see it happen.

Not gonna say anything, just look at tonight's game to see why Toronto needs a physical defender, they're smooth as butter. Also stop whining about how bad Chiarot is and that he isn't worth a first .... You gave it for a fourth liner last year bud.
